I am nominating my dad for this contest as he is a true hero to our country and also my biggest hero because he is my dad. My dad Marcus Rinehart is retired from the US Air Force in which he served 22 years and continues to work as a civilian cop at Kirtland Air Force Base. He is the main provider for our family of five plus two dogs and a cat and also another teenager that he has taken in to help out because she had nowhere else to go and he has such a caring and loving heart. Recently, my grandma passed away and left us her house which is about 50+ years old! Needless to say, it's verrry old and has so many things wrong with it. My dad cannot fix everything or do a renovation because we simply do not have the money and he doesn't have the time because he works full time only to have most all of his paycheck go to bills. My dads bills include: 5 car payments, house payment, a family plan phone bill, pet bills such as vet visits, and also diabetes medication and things that go along with that because he unfortunately has that disease. Between working full time, trying to fix our house, feeding and providing for a child who is not even his, and still trying to keep good relationships with all of us I would say that is quite deserving of some help! My father is the most caring, kind-hearted, loyal, trustworthy, honest, and loving man I know and he would do anything for our family and anybody else so please consider him for this contest and give something back for him.
