1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The 2KASA 24 “Jack is Back” LG Tablet Giveaway will begin on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 08:01:00 pm and end on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00:00am local time in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Enter to win on KASA.com. There will be five (5) winners selected in total. There will be four (4) winners of a season eight of 24 on DVD, and one (1) lucky winner of an LG Tablet plus season eight of 24 of DVD. Watch the Premier of 24 on Monday, May 5, 2014 and watch for a CODE WORD. All winners will be selected at random by UPICKEM. All unclaimed or unused prizes will be kept by 2KASA for promotional use other than this contest.
b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): You must watch 24 at 7:00pm MST on 2KASA to hear the CODE WORD on Monday, May 5, 2014. Go to kasa.com and choose contests to enter the CODE WORD from 8:00 pm Monday, May 5th – 11:00am Tuesday, May 6th. You will create an account or log in to your account to enter the CODE WORD mentioned during one of the breaks of the Premier.
c. KASA, “The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.”
d. One Entry per person. Dates of entry for the contest are on Monday, May 5, 2014 8:00pm – Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 11:00am. The drawing is on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at approximately 11:30am local time in Albuquerque, NM.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all 2KASA viewers who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the KASA viewing area. Employees of KASA (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the KASA viewing area and the members of their immediate families [AND/OR HOUSEHOLDS] are ineligible to participate or win. Winners are subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.
3. PRIZES
a. There will be five (5) total winners. There will be 4 winners that will receive season eight of 24 on DVD with a retail value of approximately 20 dollars, and one (1)grand prize winner of an LG Optimus Tablet plus season eight of 24 on DVD with a retail value of approximately 260 dollars. The winners are selected at random by UPICKEM from all correct and eligible registrations received. The drawings will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at approximately 11:30 am Albuquerque, NM time.
b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winners will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by May 30, 2104. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
c. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received, as applicable.
d. The winners will be selected at random by UPICKEM from all complete and eligible entries received. The winners will be notified on the day their name is drawn via email. The winners will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by 5:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.”
e. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
g. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KASA – 13 Broadcast Plaza, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87104.
