HOW TO ENTER

The 2KASA Mother’s Day Concert Ticket Giveaway will begin on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 12:01:00 am and end on Sunday, May 4,  2014 at 11:59:00 pm. Enter now for a chance to win a Mother’s Day at the Zoo Family 4-Pack for the event Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 10am – 3pm.   

The schedule of activities include 10am – 2pm Zoo Mom’s Discovery Stations, 11am World Animal Encounters Show, 12 – 1:45pm Music from JeeZ LaWeeZ and Jazz a la Carte, and at 2pm New Mexico Philharmonic Concert.

There are 30 winners of Family 4 packs.  The Winners will be selected at random by UPICKEM from all complete and eligible entries received.     

b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Contestants must log onto KASA.com, "Contests", and click on Mother’s Day Concert at the Zoo Ticket Giveaway to register to win. 

c. KASA, “The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.”

d. One Entry per person, per day for this contest.

Dates of entry begin Friday, April 25 at 12:01:00 am and end on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 11:59:00 pm.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. The contest is open to all KASA viewers who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in KASA viewing area.  Employees of KASA (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the KASA viewing area and the members of their immediate families [AND/OR HOUSEHOLDS] are ineligible to participate or win.  The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited.

b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest. 

PRIZES

On Monday, May 5, 2014 at approximately 9:00 am, there will be 30 winners selected at random by UPICKEM from all complete and eligible entries received.

The winners will receive the following prizes related to the Ticket Giveaway.

Each winner will receive one Family 4-Pack of tickets to the Mother’s Day Concert at Zoo on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 10am - 3pm, at the Albuquerque BioPark located at 903 10th St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.  Tickets are good for entry to the Zoo on May 11, 2014 and for all events for that day and for the concert. The retail value of each prize is $50.00. 

The tickets may not be used or exchanged for any event or performance other than the one designated on the ticket.  

b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below.  There is a very short turnaround time to pick up these tickets. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 9, 2014.

c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.

b. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED, AS APPLICABLE.

c. Winner need not be present to win.  The drawing will occur on Monday, May 5, 2014 at approximately 9:00 am.  The winners will be notified via email on the same day after the selection process has been completed.

d. The Winners will be selected at random by UPICKEM from all complete and eligible entries received.  The winner will be notified on the date listed above via email.  There is a very short turnaround time to pick up these tickets. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by 5:00 pm on Friday, May 9, 2014. Unclaimed tickets will be returned to the sponsor.

CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.  The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

e. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

g. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KASA - 13 Broadcast Plaza, Albuquerque New Mexico 87104.
