Official Rules

No purchase necessary to enter to win. A purchase will not increase your chance of winning.

1. HOW TO ENTER:

a. The Gertrude Zachary Jewelry Next Model Contest will begin September 30, 2011 and end on October 23, 2011.

b. Call for Entries via photo submissions will be from September 30, 2011 through October 16, 2011. 

c. Viewer voting is October 17, 2011 through midnight 23:59:59 pm, October 23, 2011, to select three finalists.

d. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method (s): online under “Contests” on www.kasa.com.  Submit a photo.  No logos, no copyrighted material, no nudity.  We reserve the right to reject any photo.

e. The station is not responsible for Internet transmissions errors, ineligible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

a. The contest is open to all KASA, KRQE, KBIM, KREZ viewers who legally reside in New Mexico.

b. Employees of KASA, KRQE, KBIM, KREZ (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the New Mexico area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited.

c. Entries are limited to 13 years of age and older.  Entries that include participants that are 13-17 require parental/legal guardian submission (consent).

3. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION:

a. Entry photos are posted the first business day after submission.

b. Viewers will vote for their favorite contestant beginning October 17, 2011 through midnight, Sunday October 23, 2011.  The top three finalists with the most votes will join seven other finalists pre-selected by Gertrude Zachary Jewelry’s team of judges. Each of the ten finalists will be professionally photographed and the winner will be revealed on New Mexico Style (2 KASA FOX) Friday November 4th, 2011.

c. The winner will be selected by likeability and brand relevance.

d. Odds of winning depend upon the number entries received.

e. The winner does not need to listen or be present to win.

f. Winners must execute and return any required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be decided by Gertrude Zachary Jewelry and or station management. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and/or liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.

4. PRIZES:

a. The winner will be photographed by Studio Seven Pro and will be featured on the   Gertrude Zachary Jewelry Holiday Billboard campaign, the Gertrude Zachary Jewelry Website, NM Style Website (kasa.com) and Studio Seven Pro website.

b. Minimum promotional opportunity value is $1,000.  Winner will also receive a piece of Gertrude Zachary Jewelry valued at $100.00.

5.  CONDITIONS:

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the    winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b. By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.  Gertrude Zachary Jewelry may use contestant photos until 11/3/2012.  The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.

c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.

e. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
