Rio Grande Scenic Railroad Summer Concert Series Giveaway
OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
1. HOW TO ENTER
The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad Summer Concert Series Getaway Contest will begin on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 12:01:00 am and end on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 11:59:00 pm. There are three entry phases to the contest. To qualify for a single phase’s drawing, an individual must enter that phase. For the avoidance of doubt, an individual who enters only in Phase A cannot win Phase B or Phase C, or vice versa.
Phase A – Concert Prize (described more fully below):The Rifters, Chuck Pyle and Rails & Ales. Event date: June 23, 2012.
Dates to enter Phase A: Monday, May 21 2012 at 12:01 :00 am and end on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 11:59:00 pm.
Phase B – Concert Prize (described more fully below): Michael Martin Murphey. Event dates: July 20 – 22/2012.
Dates to enter Phase B: Monday, June 18, 2012 at 12:01 :00 am and end on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 11:59:00 pm.
Phase C – Concert Prize (described more fully below):John McEuen. Event dates: August 24 – 26/2012.
Dates to enter Phase C: Monday, July 16, 2012 at 12:01 :00 am and end on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 11:59:00 pm.
b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Contestants must log onto KASA.com, "Contests", and click on the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad Summer Concert Series Giveaway to register to win.
c. KRQE | KASA, “The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.”
d. One Entry per day for each Phase per household.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all KRQE | KASA viewers who are 21 years of age or older and who legally reside in KRQE | KASA viewing area. Employees of KRQE | KASA (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the KRQE | KASA viewing area and the members of their immediate families [AND/OR HOUSEHOLDS] are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest. That is, if an individual wins in a single Phase, nobody from his/her household may win the other Phases.
3. PRIZES
a. The winners will receive the following prizes related to the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad Summer Concert Series:
PHASE A PRIZE: The Rifters, Chuck Pyle and Rails & Ales for the event on June 23, 2012 will receive two (2) tickets to the concert and train tickets on the Open Air Car. The retail value is $158.00.
PHASE B PRIZE: Michael Martin Murphey for three-day event July 20 – 22, 2012 will receive four (4) tickets to the concert and train tickets on the Open Air Car. The retail value is $236.00.
PHASE C PRIZE: John McEuen for the three-day event August 24 – 26, 2012 will receive four (4) tickets to the concert and train tickets on the Open Air Car. The retail value is $236.00.
MORE INFORMATION ON PRIZES: Enjoy Western folk artists in a meadow amphitheater 9400 feet in the Rockies. Concertgoers ride the regularly scheduled excursion trains and disembark at the concert site. Trains depart from Alamosa, CO. Excursion trains continue on and pick up people at the concert site on the way back. b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-eight (48) hours of winning and another winner will be selected via random drawing.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED, AS APPLICABLE.
c. Winner need not be present to win. The winners will be notified via email on Monday COB following the final day of each of the three featured artist contests.
PHASE A: The Rifters, Chuck Pyle and Rails & Ales winner to be notified on Monday, June 11, 2012.
PHASE B: Michael Martin Murphey winner to be notified on Monday, July 9, 2012.
PHASE C: John McEuen winner to be notified on Monday, August 6, 2012.
d. The Winner will be selected at random by UPICKEM from all entries received. Winners will be notified on the dates listed above via email. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within fourty-eight (48 hours), or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize and another winner will be selected at random.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. “If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
e. Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
g. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KRQE | KASA - 13 Broadcast Plaza, Albuquerque New Mexico 87104.
